Görlitz

Görlitz, the host town of the conference, is situated directly at the border to Poland, separated from its sister town Zgorzelec by the Neisse river. The beautiful old town with thousands of well-preserved buildings from different centuries has been the backdrop for several well-known movies. Therefore, it's also called "Görli-wood". The town's rich cultural life and the picturesque scenery attract thousands of tourists every year.
