Description

We develop the software for detecting moving objects in large catalog database, which are based on the PDR3-DUD (public data release version 3 for Deep and Ultra Deep survey) of Subaru Strategic Survey Project.
By comparing the catalogs based on Coadd image and each exposure images, we extract objects without Coadd detection but in exposure image as moving and/or transient object candidates(MTOCs), and then search the line segments which are formed of MTOCs by applying the method based on the RANSAC(RANdom SAmple Consensus), which is extended to 3 dimensional data.
This method provides us the faster and numerous (~ 20,000 secure moving object candidates) detection of moving objects, especially more than three and more times increase in the faint magnitude range.
We'll report the current status and future prospects of our project and strategy for handling more larger dataset expected emerging in near future.
