Contributed talks at ADASS are 12 minutes in length plus 3 minutes for questions. Your presentation has to be in Office, PowerPoint, PDF or Keynote format and will have to be uploaded before your session. Information on how to do that will be provided in due time. The projection screens at the conference will have a 16:9 side ratio.
In case you submitted an additional poster abstract, please note that as a speaker, you cannot also present a poster as first author. You may, of course, be co-author of posters presented by other participants of the conference.
To paint a picture of the audience of your talk, ADASS attendees identify as software engineers, programmers, software architects, managers and computer scientists, with a smaller number of instrument scientists and database, archive and data specialists. Roughly 70% list astronomical research among their professional activities, with levels of experience ranging from graduate students to senior astronomers.
